It’s time for our next Quilt Along starting March 21!
We love doing these quilt alongs – not only do we get to make a fun quilt with you and show you all our tips and tricks for making it, but we get to meet and interact with YOU! It’s a win-win for us all!
We’re doing it differently this time. Instead of hosting it through Instagram using hashtags to communicate, we created a Facebook group. When you join the group, you’ll have access to everything in one place – no need to search hashtags. Plus you can post anytime you like showing us your fabric selections, progress, or ask questions.

Each week of the QAL we’ll post video tutorials, tons of tips, hints, and inspiration. Then on Fridays, join us for a live Q&A session on Facebook to answer any questions you may have. And don’t forget about the giveaways – we will sprinkle some great prizes throughout the quilt along.
FYI: It’s free to join the FB group, but you’ll need to purchase your Courtyard pattern, Everyday Curve Template Set, and fabrics to make the quilt.
Courtyard is one of our most versatile patterns as you can see in the photos above. It can be elegant and symmetrical like the original, scrappy and playful like the scrappy version, or unexpectedly contemporary like the checkerboard version. Whatever version you pick, it will be fabulous. During the quilt along we’ll also detail out how to use the Everyday Curve template set and introduce you to other Everyday curve patterns we have that use it.

How to Join: Join our Everyday Stitches Courtyard Quilt Along 2022 Facebook Group to receive all the tutorials, inspiration, and other goodies you need to know! We will post everything each Tuesday morning of the quilt along, it will also be posted on the blog. Be sure to post your progress in the group so everyone can ooh and aah over your quilt!
Quilt Info and Supplies
First, purchase the pattern here and Everyday Curve Template Set here. You have the choice of getting the booklet version or the pdf download. (We have 12 additional patterns – plus a free pattern – that use the template set so it’s not a one-and-done purchase.)
Fabric: Anything goes with fabric selection! For a controlled palette, consider the original version – just 6 fabrics are needed. If you have a playful side, novelty fabrics can really make the scrappy version so unexpected! The checkerboard version is for those who like a block-based aesthetic!

Week 4 – Assembling the Top. Putting it all together
Week 5 – Quilting and Finishing. Top assembly and binding tips
