We’re thrilled to be participating in the Winter Haven Project Hop, celebrating Winter Haven, the newest fabric collection by Rachel Rossi of @designsbyrr for Benartex.
Winter Haven was inspired by peaceful winter landscapes, woodland wildlife, and the cozy feeling of creating something by hand during the colder months. Filled with deer, owls, evergreens, berries, mushrooms, and soft seasonal florals, it’s a collection that’s just as beautiful for holiday sewing as it is for projects you’ll enjoy all winter long.
Throughout the hop, talented makers are sharing quilts, bags, home décor, and other creative projects made with Winter Haven. Every stop offers a new idea and a fresh way to use the collection.
When we saw this fabric line, we instantly knew Windy City was he perfect pattern for it! Windy City is an unexpected take on the Improved Nine-Parch block that makes a bold, modern statement while still paying homage to the past. The peaceful and soft fabrics of Winterhaven work in contrast for beautiful results. We couldn’t be happier!
